It was unlike any place I have stayed before with an approximately 50:50... read more split of very friendly long term expat residents from UK, US, Canada and Australia of the ones we talked to which gave it a very good vibe. The main swimming pool was well used and the open air bar restaurant was a well used gathering area. The food was good, with a special call out to the breakfast rice soups.

The hotel is a bit run down in some places but for the price it was an excellent option and to be frank it felt very comfortable. Only a short tuk tuk ride in to town with loads of restaurants and bars.

The whole site is extremely well maintained and the views of the mountains and river are fantastic! What a location.

Actually, everything about this hotel is good: the place, the staff (super friendly and helpful), the view, the facilities (two swimming pools, what a wonderful luxury), activities (ping pong, pool table, air hockey, kayaking, kite surfing), the bar/restaurant where you can eat and drink well and affordably. Even in the evening it is very nice and there is a very cozy atmosphere in the bar. If you're a football fan, you can also watch football at the bar: that's winning, right?
